He wouldn't dare.

Would he?

Kathryn thought he would. Doc had quite a bit of an ego.

And thanks to his shutterbug habit (what a pun, oy) he had quite a few pictures. She should have never trained that mon-

"Ahem," he started.

Great.

"Welcome to the monthly slide show."

'Welcome' didn't quite cut it. How about...'Unless you want to be kept off duty for three days, you have no choice but to come'?

"Today's subject should be quite interesting - Insects native to the Delta Quadrant."

He had dared. Kathryn swore that after the show was over, Seven most definitely wouldn't have any eligible mates.

B'Elanna was fed up herself. She pointed to Doc and said, "Exhibit A - A Delta Quadrant variety holographic shutterbug." At least she was on the same wavelength.

After the sniggering ended, Doc continued. "As I was saying...a species we encontered recently was the 'photonic fleas'."

"How could I forget?" B'Elanna asked.

On cue, a mating pair showed up on the screen.

Trouble was, it was the wrong mating pair.

"Uh..." Doc stammered.

B'Elanna started laughing. There was no way she'd tell Tom about this.

Seven cocked her eyebrow. "Curious. I was not aware that humans were able to do that."

Kathryn shook her head. Now she had an even bigger reason to regret training the monkey to take photographs.

Gathering up what little dignity she had, she moved the presentation to the next picture.

"Uh..." Seven stammered.

Kathryn started laughing. There was no way she couldn't tell Chakotay about this.

Doc cocked his eyebrow. "That's strange. Where do insects come into with that?"

B'Elanna shook her head. She thought Tom had shut off the security scanners.

Gathering up what little dignity she had, she moved the presentation to the next picure.

"Uh..." B'Elanna and Kathryn stammered.

Doc and Seven moved one stride further away from one another. Apparently, her lessons were being put into practice.

And Matt Farley started snoring.
