Sora sighed as she gazed across the meadow, thinking about the day she met Tai Kamiya. He was a outgoing little brown haired boy, constantly thinking about soccer. Maybe that's how she became so attracted to him.
And then there was all they'd been through together as well. Tai was after all the leader of the group in the Digi World and seemed like a second brother to her. But maybe, she thought, the relationship has evolved...
Ever since the came back Sora had been in denial. She even started dating Matt Ishida just to get everyone else to stop bugging her about asking Tai out. However, she was about to break up with Matt because she couldn't stand lying to him much longer, about her true feelings.
Sora had to shake her head. Even her thoughts were beginning to get as confusing as her life. If she continued any further her head would explode.
Just then there was a tap on her shoulder. Turning around, her eyes gazed into the ones that had recently been haunting her dreams. It was Tai.
"Hey Tai," said Sora softly. Tai grinned and said hello back. "So what brings you here?"
"I heard their was a rose patch worth looking at and came to check it out," said Tai in response.
"Since when have you been interested in gardening?" asked Sora, knowing oh too well that wasn't the reason he was here.
"Ok, you caught me. I called your house to see if you wanted to hang out and your mom said you were here. You're not mad at me over the hair clip still, are you?"
Sora had to laugh; it appeared Tai was very behind with the times.
"Of course not! I got over that ages ago. So, how come you haven't answered any of the emails I've sent you lately?"
"You've sent me emails?" asked Tai. "Sorry, I haven't check my mail in a while."
He then chose to sit down by her. His brown hair basking the sun, which was silhouetted by it. Sora couldn't help but lean on him.
"So what do you say we go visit that rose patch?" Tai whispered in her ear.
"I'd like that," said Sora truthfully.
Standing up, they held each others hand and took off to the rose patch. Amazingly, after being there for only a few minutes, something started to vibrate in Tai's pocket. It was his digivice.
"Oh man! I'm sorry Sora, but I have to go," said Tai, kissing her on the check. Then he ran off into the setting sun.
Sora held her hand to her check and blushed. There was no way she could deny it now. She did have a crush on him.
And in truth, she already knew someone was needed in the Digiworld. Her digivice had been going off all afternoon.
