A/N: All I will say is that I'm BACK TO WRITING STORIES! So, enjoy The Loud Mask!
"You sure you know what you're doin', man?"
"I'm sure," Stanley Ipkiss replied, looking for to the edge of the bridge.
"Do what ya gotta do," his friend replied.
Mask in hand, Stanley opened the car door and went to the railing of the Edge City bridge with his girlfriend, Tina.
He took one last glance at the ancient relic he held in his hands before asking Tina, "Sure you're not gonna miss this guy? When he's gone, all that's left is me."
Tina looked into his eyes with passion before reaching for the magical mask and tossing it over the railing into the open sea. She then gently wrapped her arms around Stan and kissed him.
As they finished, Stanley shouted the catchphrase, "Sssssmokin'!"
The mask floated down by the current to Royal Woods, Michigan. That is where the story truly begins.
The mask lay hidden in a stream near the house of the Louds. Well, not so hidden, seeing as Charles, the family dog, was able to find it. He grabbed it within his jaws and rushed to the house with it. From outside, the music, crashing, and general chaos could be heard. The dog rushed through the chaos with the relic and reached Lincoln's room.
Lincoln opened the door, and as he furrowed his eyebrows, he asked Charles, "What is that, boy?"
He grappled the artifact and studied its features. It emitted a strange glow and Lincoln was compelled to raise it up to his face. It started to attach toward his face, but he pulled it away almost immediately.
"That was wierd," he said. "Maybe I could give this to Lisa. She knows things. Maybe she can tell me what it is."
As Lincoln's fist was five inches away from the door, he could hear an explosion beyond the door. He slowly backed awayaway, the mask still in hand. Moments later, Lisa opened the door. Her hair was singed. Her clothes looked as though she had rolled in dirt and dust and the lens of her glasses was covered with ash.
"Can I help you?" She asked.
"What happened to you?" Lincoln asked.
"Don't ask," Lisa replied while cleaning her glasses.
"Anyway," Lincoln began while revealing the mask. "Do you know what this is?"
Lisa 's eyes widened as she saw it.
She quickly retrieved it from her brother, asking, "Where's you find this?!"
"Charles found it," Lincoln explained. "Why? Is it dangerous?"
"Do not, under any circumstances, put this mask on!" Lisa warned.
"Well, we should throw it away, shouldn't we?" Lincoln suggested.
"No," Lisa quickly answered. "Someone else will find it. It'll be better if it stays in my lab."
"Okay," Lincoln agreed.
"Dinner!" Their Mom, Rita called.
Lisa jumped up, and grabbed Lincoln's shirt color, and ordered, "Do not tell anyone about this mask. It is far too dangerous!"
"Okay! Okay! I won't!" Lincoln submitted.
Lisa released her trip and fell until her feet touched the ground. Lincoln steadied himself, then walked to the dining room in disbelief. Lisa laid the mask on her experiment table, then turned off the light, shut the door, and went downstairs to the dining room. The mask that lie in her table lit the room with a greenish glow
As everyone was gathered at the tables, Lisa didn't have much of an appetite, worrying about the relic that lies in her room.
"What's wrong, Lisa?" Lana asked.
When Lisa didn't answer, Lincoln spoke for her, "She's upset because one of her...uh...One of her experiments exploaded!"
Lola spoke up and said, "When don't they?"
As she and lan a laughed, Lisa explained, "One must fail to learn."
"Then you really need to learn!" Lola remarked.
Lana and Lola once again began to laugh at Lisa. Lisa arose from her seat and ran from that table.
"Good job, guys," Lincoln sarcastically said.
Dinner was over. On her way to the stairs, she was stopped by Luan, "Hey! What's black and white and red all over? Your experiments! Hahaha! Get it?"
Lisa could not hold back. She waded up her fist and hit Luan in the shoulder. Luan stumbled back in disbelief. As well as anyone else who was this.
"Lisa!" Lynn Sr.'s voice rang out. "That was unnecessary! Go to your room!"
Lisa ran up the stairs to her roomroom, slamming the door Bruins her.
"What's up with her?" Lynn Jr. asked.
Lincoln headed up to Lisa's room to come her.
He knocked on her door.
"It's Lincoln," he said. "Are you okay?"
"Leave me be, brother," she said. "I prefer isolation currently."
"Okay, but if you need to talk, I'll be in my room," Lincoln offered.
He left, leaving Lisa to her thoughts. She glanced over to the glowing mask, got up, and grabbed it from her table. She observed the strange relic, but ultimately opened the window and threw the mask out of it. As she turned and was walking toward her bed when the mask returned like a boomerang, hitting the back of her head.
As she rubbed the back of her head, she mumbled, "What the..."
She turned and was the mask, lying on the floor. She picked it up as it shined to attract her attention. Her heart was beating as she lifted it toward her face. It immediately attached to her face. It started to spread across her head. Her was beating faster and faster. She was terrified. Suddenly, she started to spin like a tornado, as thunder and lightning rolls. She finally stopped and had an expensive robe over her, and her head was completely green except for her eyes and mouth.
She smiled, and exclaimed the catchphrase, "Sssssssmokin'!"
