Gaara walked down the street of Sunagakure to his large home. People passed him quickly while pulling their children behind them. Gaara looked at the ground as he walked down the the quickly cleared streets. His attention was brought to a single brown haired girl who was crying in the street. He hand were buried into her arms and her knees were brought into closely to her chest. Gaara stared at the girl before walking towards her.
--Flash back--
"Your...your... Sabaku no Gaara." one boy trembled. The other kids also trembled in fear. "RUN" one girl screamed as she ran in the opposite direction. The rest of the children copied the girl and ran.
Gaara's eyes widened a bit and started to produce fresh tears. His lip quivered a bit. Tiny tears fell from Gaara's eyes. He yanked his bear from the ground and walked over towards an abandoned swing set. He leaned his bear against the pole and brought his knees to his chest.
More tears escaped before he began to sob into his arms.
--End flash back--
Gaara stopped in front of the little girl. He bent his knees and rested his arms onto his legs. The girl did not look up. "What's wrong?" he spoke roughly. The girl then looked at him and stared. A few momments passed before Gaara stood back up. "No need to tell me." he said in his own sarcastic way before walking down the street again. Gaara turned the corner to walk on another street. Minutes passed before the girl came back to reality. She stood up and ran down the street. "MOMMY! MOMMY! HELP!" she screamed. The girls mother ran outside "What's wrong Aki!" she screamed. "MOMMY! I WAS GOING TO GET ATTACKED FROM A MONSTER" she sobbed.
Gaara closed his eyes and buried his face into his hands. He had been standing behind another house. He rubbed the bridge of his nose and began to walk once more.

"Welcome home Gaara." Temari smiled at him. He nodded towards Temari and went into the living room. Kankuro was sprawled on to the couch, watching the television. "Hey Gaara." he glanced at him before turning his attention back towards the TV. Gaara grunted and sat down on an armchair. They watched what ever was on. Over the years Gaara, Temari and Kankuro had really bonded. "Dinners ready!" Temari yelled from the kitchen. Kankuro turned off the TV and both brothers headed towards the kitchen. Temari placed plates in front of both of them before fixing herself some. Gaara pushed the food around on his fork. "Gaara? What's wrong?" Temari spoke up. He glanced up at sorta smiled at Temari. "Nothing." he said weakly then looked back at the food. Kankuro and Temari glanced at each other and then at Gaara. Temari shrugged. "Alright." she said. She took her and Kankuro's plate and placed it in the sink. "Hurry up so I can do dishes." Temari tried to sound annoyed. Gaara looked up at her again. She smiled and left the room.
Gaara quickly ate the rest of his dinner and placed the dish in the sink. He headed towards the stairs and nodded at Temari. She nodded back and Gaara went to his room.
"What do you thinks wrong? Kankuro pipped up. "I don't know...Maybe tomorrow will cheer him up" Temari said with a bright smile.
