Levy rifled through the mountain of costumes in search of the prefect thing for her and Gajeel to wear for Halloween. Lucy and Loke already had a cute couple's costume. Lucy was going to be a flapper and Loke, a mob Dom. Levy poked her head out of the mountain of costumes that she was buried in to see Gajeel sitting in a nice chair looking at ease. "Aren't you going to help me?" She huffed? Her blue hair askew and her clothes all rumpled. He looked up lazily, eyes landing on her with a small smirk.
"You mean like finding the perfect costumes ten minutes ago shrimp?" He asked holding up two costumes on hangers.
"Why didn't you say something?" She huffed hopping out of the mess she's made and righting her clothes and hair.
"You looked like you are having fun." He chuckled as she swat his chest and took the hangers from him to see what he'd found.
"Oh Gajeel! They're perfect!" She beamed and hugged him.
"Of course they are." He laughed.
Loke and Lucy were sitting in Fairy Tail living up to their costumes. Loke , sitting back with all the ... of a mob boss, arm slung casually over Lucy who was sitting back onto him, looking for all intents and purposes, as a flapper with her Dom. Her half lidded and heavily makeuped eyes light up however, as she spied her best friend Levy who scampered over grinning. "Levy! You look adorable!" Lucy said as she hugged her friend.
"Thanks! You look great too!" Levy said stepping back to see Lucy's full attire.
"Where's Gajeel?" Lucy asked. Gajeel walked over in his Ash Ketchum costume, hat and all, with a smirk.
"It's getting dark." Gajeel said. Levy beamed and leapt up onto him, clinging like a monkey to her tree. Or in the case of their costumes, Pikachu and Ash.
"Here squirt." Gajeel said as he lifted her easily over his head so she could sit atop his shoulders.
"Come on Loke, let's go get some candy!" Lucy said grabbing the Lion's hand and pulling him along after Gajeel and Levy over to where Mira Jane, having used Satan Soul as her costume, was giving out bags to the Fairy Tail's younger members such as Lucy, Gajeel and Levy. Gajeel carried Levy most of the way except when they got to each door she made him put her down while Loke didn't go up to most doors for candy. When the night drew to its end the four arrived back at Fairy Tail laden with heavy bags of candy. Mira Jane, ever happy to see them, had changed back to normal clothes, a black and orange dress. She beamed at the sight of the weary group and dumped the remnants of her bowl of candy into each of their bags making sure Loke got the most because his bag was the lightest. The lot sat down and began to divide up candy, sharing what they didn't like with those who did. When the loot was divvied up and the two couples separated for the night Levy asked Gajeel to carry her home. He sighed and put her once more on his shoulders.
"I'm fine carrying you shrimp, you weigh nothing. But your bag of candy weighs as much as I do." He said taking a bag in each hand and walking off in the direction of their home. When they got home he dropped the bags and dumped her on the bed.
"Pika." Levy said sitting up in her onesie and pulling on her long ears.
"You're too cute." Gajeel laughed and kissed her forehead. "Let's get jacked on candy."
