Ring of Fire

Sometimes when I think of love, I think of an American song I once heard. It was about a ring of fire. Yes, love is truly fiery. Fiery with passion and desire, and with yearning to be close to those you love.

I have fallen into that Ring of fire. yes, I truly have. Sadly, the person I love has their heart surrounded by a heart of fiery coldness. I tried, time and time again to tell them of my feelings, but time and time again it fell on deaf ears.

I have fallen into that very Ring of Fire. I remember that song, it's echoing in my ears. Each time I hear it, I fall father into the burning ring.

But each time I see this one I love, I fall even deeper. I keep waiting to hit ashy bottom, to realize that they shall never love me. But I keep falling into this cursed ring. This ring that sears at my flesh each day, it tears into my mind, into my soul.

It's true. I fell for you foolishly, like a child. Each day i long for the taste of your lips on mine, our skin against eachother. I wish for you, sweet love of mine. Each moment that we're apart, the fire grows even more wild. I fall deeper into this Ring of Fire.
