The night was cold and I Qrow Branwen, instead of fighting grimm and being a total badass was stuck here in Patch taking care of a baby.
Summer and Tai had taken Yang to meet Summers grandmother in the south and because i didn't have any missions to go on for a while was automatically volunteered to take care of the young and incredibly cute miss Rose. Its not like i minded though I mean she is my daugh-no niece. That's what we decided as a team, she would be Tai's girl not mine. I would just be crazy old uncle Qrow who spoiled both his nieces and got into more trouble than them put together.
After the disappearance of my more than annoying twin sister Raven the whole team fell apart and went to mayhem. Tai quickly became heavily depressed, unable to function most days. A leader of the team Summer took it upon herself to help pick up the pieces and even took on the responsibility of becoming Yang's mother. I helped support them by taking on the most dangerous and long missions Ospin could find for me, they were worth the risks i took.
On one of the worst jobs i took ended with my left leg and right arm being broken along with a few cracked ribs. Summer had been the one to look after me the day i returned but it soon became us just exploring the love that had silently been there between us resulting in the little bundle of energy that was currently sleeping in my arms. Its just a late night with no meaning anymore but Ruby will grow into a beautiful young warrior that i know will one day save Reminent. I've just got to help her along the way.
