Joan of Equestria
Prologue
Princess Celestia was staring out the window of her quaters. Everything looked fine in Canterlot, but it wasn't so pretty in a lot of the other cities.
Chaos was rising, the Griffon Land took over nearly half of Equestria. Including towns like Fillydelphia, Manehattan, Galloptown, and Newstable.
"When will this change?" Celestia asked herself, "When will a miracle happen to stop this horrifying time?"
But her question was never answered, until the year of 1454 A.D.
A young pony was picking flowers near the church of Dompony.
"This is life," she thought, "It's a blessing not to be under Griffon rule."
But Dompony was at the border, Jeruhorse was the next town over, and over there, the Griffons controlled.

Joan lived a good life. Even though she never went to school, she was smart (she knows that she was born in 1439); even though Joan was only 15, she was mature; even though she only knew two prayers, she said them well and clear.
But to her family, it was war. Bloody war. War that could last for 100 years, Joan's father kept saying. But to Joan, it was peaceful. This was Dompony, and that town was never taken by the Griffons.
This was life to Joan, and nobody could ever change that.
"Joan!" Jeanne, Joan's older sister, called, "Time for dinner!"
"I'll be right there!" Joan called back, then gently put the flowers on the ground.
"The boquet for mother isn't ready yet," Joan thought, "I'll leave it here so it will be safe."

The Griffon nobles were in the castle at Jeruhorse, planning their next attack.
"But what if we have those soilders carry the ladders to get past the wall?" One noble asked another.
"We should have five ladders, so take out those two and put them with the rest of the unputted griffons." The second noble replied to the first.
"We have to attack in less than five hours, so let's hurry up on this." A third noble said.
"Hurry up on what?"
Lother VII, the king of the griffons, asked in the distance.
"Um, the attack on that town." Baron #1 said.
"Not that town," Lothar replied. "I want... Rempony."
