*1 Year later...*
Renault snickered as the townspeople sped by him in his haste to find a victim—Anyone—Anything—would suffice. After all, he was an assassin that preyed on anyone too weak to fight back. Renault was quite the sexy man because he had a blade of steel, a Steel Blade, his most powerful weapon. But the problem with this weapon was that it weighed fourteen times more than Renault, so that when he fought his foes, he had to swing it around many a time to be able to land a hit on his enemies. His enemies were vast armies of Elibe, warriors of steel that emerged from the very land of Laus. Laus held a vast army, commanded by a man known as Lord Darin. Lord Darin's strength was in his words, words that could convince even a stupid peasant to get up and start fighting for an inevitable cause.
One day, Renault encountered Lord Darin on the battlefield. The scenery was awash with blood, rain poured upon the dead soliders of Laus, the plains of grass were now coated with deep, red blood. Two men were now the only ones that remained on the battlefield, one was a Mercenary, holding a blade in his hand and was completely unscathed, the other; Lord Darin of Laus.
"God damn you, you walking turd of bitch!!!" yelled out the famed General of Laus, his eyes quivering with absolute fear as he stood before the mercenary that took out his entire army.
"You have excellent quintessence, Lord Darin... You'll be a worthy contribution to my cause..." Renault spoke quietly, but his words echoed in the wind so that all could hear the impending death that awaited Lord Darin.
"Grr, you will die!!!!" Marquess Laus charged at Renault suddenly and threw a stone of might, wielded by the heroes of Laus. Renault swiftly dodged the stone, chuckling as the wind picked up and got even more ferocious.
"Urrgh, you think you can dodge the Mighty Stone of Laus?!?!" Darin was infuriated, his face was growing bright red with embarrassment as the chuckling mercenary stood before, having swiftly eluded the attack that Darin prepared for him.
"Lord Darin, you can't be serious..." Renault told him, still laughing from the attack that Darin threw at him.
"Grrr!!!! I'm not so easily defeated, you fiend of hitch!" Lord Darin said with a faulty voice and a fake macho persona. Lord Darin stumbled about on the ground looking for yet another one of his retarded stones.
"Lord Darin... I think we both agree that it's time to end these foolish games. After all, we both know I will steal your quintessence and give it to Nergal so that he may ressurect my fallen friend!" Renault charged at Lord Darin with his blade clutched tightly in hand. He swung the blade about, aiming for Darin's shoulder as to only wound him enough to rip the quintessence from his body using the Runesword. Darin took quick notice of Renault's capabilities, and groped about for another stone. Lord Darin looked worried until Renault was a mere space away. Darin attacked Renault using his long range Spear weapon, which caught Renault off guard. The Spear sliced Renault across the chest, throwing off Renault's charging stance. Renault's sword twirled diagonally.
