A Rude Awakening
"Oh my god." Jackie exclaimed as she sat straight up in bed one morning.
"What is it?" Nick asked worriedly as he too sat upright.
"I'm going to be late for work, it's almost 7:30."
"It's Saturday." Nick told her, giving her an odd look.
"Oh, phew, well, in that case, I'm going back to sleep. Goodnight."
"For crying out loud Jackie, you scared the hell out of me." Nick said.
"I'm sorry Nicky." She said sincerely with a smile.
Nick smiled and shook his head at her. She rolled back over so she could get a little more sleep before the kids got up.
"I'm married to a lunatic." Nick thought to himself before he too fell back asleep.
