Hey kid!"

A young man jumps out of his sleep on the bench that he was laying on.

"What?" said the kid.

"You can't loiter out here, unless you're waiting for the bus," said the security guard, standing over him."

"I am," said the kid. "Wait! What time is it!"

"1 am," said the security guard, particularly.

"1 am!" the kid exclaimed. "No, I'm suppose to catch the bus to Los Angeles at 10pm!"

"It's way past ten, my brother," said the guard, with a chuckle.

"I can't believe this man," said the kid. "Dammit!"

"You should buy a new ticket, then," the guard said. "You might be out of here early in the morning."

The guard left as the kid sits up and puts his face into his hands.

His name is Xavier Copperfield, a young African American that attends PCU (Port Charles University). He use to be the co-head leader in the Frat Brother's club. Now he decided to give all of that up and to plan on going to Los Angeles for a better life. Unfortunately, his plans were about to get dashed.

"What can I do for you?" asked the woman behind the ticket booth.

"Look, I overslept and I missed the bus," said Xavier. "Is there a way that I can transfer my ticket to a later time, like for earlier in the morning."

"I'm sorry sir," said the woman. "I'm afraid we can help with that. We have a strict no refund policy."

"You gotta be kidding me!" snapped Xavier. "That's ridiculous!"

"Rules are rules, I guess," said the women.

"So, you're telling me that I'm stuck in this boring ass town?" asked Xavier rhetorically.

"You can always buy a new ticket," she said with a shrug.

"I can't!" said Xavier. "My credit card...I don't have any money. I just borrowed my friend's credit card only to pay for this ticket, and I gave it back to him."

That was a lie...

"Is there any way that you could reach him?" asked the women.

"No," said Xavier.

In reality, Xavier is currently on the run. He's gotten himself in a lot of trouble in the past twenty four hours, and he wants to skip town for good. While he was running away, he finds a credit card at the side of the road. He then goes to the bus station and buys himself a bus ticket to Los Angeles pretending to be 'Julian Jerome'. He kept the card with him for a while, but unfortunately some random PI person (Curtis) came out of nowhere and interrogated him about Julian and his latest purchase. Xavier said he doesn't know anything about Julian, he just wanted a ticket to leave town. Curtis lets Xavier go, but have him give up the credit card. Now Xavier has no money to live off on. Only a few days worth of clothes and some snack food that will only last a few hours.

"Oh well that's too bad," said the woman.

"I have no place to go," Xavier said sadly.

"You have to have come somewhere," said the woman concerned.

"I go to school out here," said Xavier, quickly. A university."

"Really?" said the woman. "I don't see why you can't go back. At least for the night."

"No, I can't go back!" Xavier snapped. "Not now, not ever!"

The woman swallowed hard.

"I'm...sorry," stuttered the woman. "But i don't know what to tell you."

Xavier sighed and turned away.

"Thanks for nothing," he mumbled.

Several minutes later Xavier was standing outside of the bus station with his heavy backpack plotting what he was going to do next for survival. He reluctantly opens up his backpack and takes out an envelope with a letter inside, that was mailed to him earlier. He takes out the letter and he re-reads it, with terror in his eyes.

"YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE! I WILL FIND YOU! I WILL LOCK YOU UP AND THROW AWAY THE KEY!!!"
