She knew she was beautiful. She had always known it. Those eyes, deep red with no visible pupil, were indeed those of a true beauty. As she smiled, showing her shark-like teeth, a thin chuckle escaped her throat.

"You are indeed the most beautiful creature in the Digital World," she whispered to herself.

Oh how she needed this! This little bit of amusement was very welcome after all that battling with that little blond human. That human..It made her draw back from the mirror in disgust. How dare that little brat patronize her! How dare that human act like she was the queen of the Digital World! That tittle was for her alone! She raised her clenched fist to strike out at the mirror, to release the pent up anger and frustration at the piece of shined up steel. The fist lowered as she closed her eyes, trying to calm herself.

Taking several deep breaths, she opened her eyes again. She glared at her reflection. "That would have to do," she said quietly, drawing her face close to the mirror once again.

Calmer now, she smiled once again, this time however the edges of her mouth were drawn down slightly. She moved her face slightly closer to her mirror image's. Those red eyes moved over the face and the body, trying to search for any imperfection. They found none.

"That's right, beautiful," she whispered, her voice slightly muffled because her nose was pressed against the mirror. "That human is nothing. She cannot compare with you. She can't. You are perfection. That's right. Nothing can compare with you. Nothing."

She drew back and stepped backward, grinning like a mad person. Her 'fans' were no lovers, they didn't speak encouragement in her ear. No. That was her job, hers alone.
