And the Angels Wept

She was walking up the stairs for what seemed an eternity. It just didn't matter anymore, she was numb. As she neared the top the wind whipped her midnight black hair around her gaunt, pale face. At the top of the tower she slowly walked towards the edge. Her dark violet eyes betrayed no emotions. As she neared the edge in desperation a voice called ARTEMIS! She slowly turned to find herself faced by her older brother Harry Potter. His cheeks were stained with tear tracks and his voice shook with despair, "Please." he said. "Please don't go." She sadly shook her head, "I must. Nothing matters anymore. I see no more meaning to live in this world." Her voice was hollow and depressed. "Please….. Artemis…."He began. "Goodbye Harry, I will miss you." Then she turned her back to him and walked off the ledge. She jumped. Harry screamed, " NOOOOO!" As the wind whipped past her body a faint trace of a smile appeared on her face before she hit the ground. In that instant large angel wings spread out underneath her body, her dark hair surrounding her face like a halo. And that night all throughout the grounds, you could hear quiet weeping. The next morning, they found Harry with his sisters head on his lap, silently weeping shielding them both with his wings.
