I watch Alex strut out of the bullpen, hearing the clicking of her heels fading. I turn around, noticing that everyone's faces are the same. Shock. Even Cragen had walked out in time to see our impromptu make-out session. Fin is the first to speak, just saying one word. "Damn." I look at Munch, who has a goofy grin on his face. Alex kissing me just gave him a year's worth of fantasies. I decide to ignore him, and turn to face Warner. She's just staring blankly, obviously kinda surprised to have walked up here and see that. Cragen is smirking, I had already told him about being in love with Alex. It was his idea to go ring shopping, in case she agreed to be my girlfriend, and then so I could propose to her. I see George, who is doing a pretty hilarious happy dance. He told me since he was gay, he has good gaydar, and I hate to admit, but he is right about Alex. I turn to face the last person. The person I consider my brother, Elliot. He is standing there with his mouth open. I had never wanted to come out to him due to him being a Catholic. All of a sudden, his face changes from open-mouthed shock to a huge smile. I guess I got his approval since he just nodded a few times. I tell him to get back to his DD5's. As for Munch and Fin, they get called out to a crime scene, and Warner goes back down to her lab, but not before giving me a happy look. As for Cragen, he just calls me into his office. My one thought before going in there, "Life is now perfect."
