Chapter 1
A new beginning
Once ago, there was a king named Ian. He was a magician from blood. His magic was so powerful; no one was able to take him down. "I'm unstoppable! But yet, I long for a son." He was so sad, he found no one to be his son. "There must be someone to be my son!" Ian yelled. "Right Snow Queen?" The Snow Queen came out in a light blue, snowy white dress. She had blonde, silky hair, hazel eyes, puffy cheeks, and white teeth so white; you could reflect the sun of them. "Right, you are there Ian, but yet I'll look for you now." Snow Queen replied. "Hehehe, that fool Ian has no idea was coming to him!"
In another town all the way across the ocean was a small village called Rinehart live a girl named Zena. She was going to take her warrior test today. Currently, she could not find anything to wear. "Dang it! I only have 6 minutes!" Zena shouted and she saw her uniform by her bed. "So that's where it was. I had better hurry! 5 minutes to go!" she thought. Therefore, she got her uniform on, got a piece of bacon and left. She ran to the village training center. When she arrived, she only had 1 minute to spare. "On time! Yes!" she exclaimed happily, as she jumped for joy. "Miss Zena Elfin?" asked a man in a grey shirt, green pants and leather vest. "I'm your instructor for the test, Mr. Lein." He said with a smile. "Nice to meet you Mr. Lion" she replied. Mr. Lein blushed with embarrassment. "It's Lein, not Lion, Zena." "Oh sorry, I don't know you that well Mr. Lain." "Zena, just call me Mau." "Ok Mau Lein." Mau looked at Zena with confusion. "Now can you call me Mr. Lein?" "Sure Mr. Lein" "Okay, Zena, your next I guess." Zena got her wooden sword and her other equipment and took it to room 18 following Mau. "Zena, what skills do you have?" "Can I call you Mau now?" "Sure Zena." "Okay, so I can use Woodland Dance and Fury Burn. Good enough for you, Mau?" "Neat, maybe enough to take me down Zena."
Well, Mau and Zena went to room 18 and started the exam. "Ready Zena?" Mau said to Zena smiling. "Yep, always!" Zena exclaimed. Zena pulled out her sword and ran to Mau to attack head on. "Too slow Zena!" "That's what you think Mau. Fury Burn!" a small spark started to form from Zena's hand. It grew and grew until it was the whole hand engulfed in fire. Zena took her hand and punched in Mau's stomach as hard as she could and Mau tried to dodge but she got him. "Ouch, that hurt, but I have my skills too!" Mau hands started to have a green glow and put his hand at his stomach. "Cure!" Mau yelled, as his burn marks was disappearing. "How did you...?" Zena was bedazzled by his skill. "You can't win unless you do a combo." Mau said."Crap, he's right...! I have an idea!" Zena thought as she prepared to launch the woodland dance. "Now! Woodland Dance!" she shouted as she ran to Mau and did Woodland Dance then Fury Burn. Zena defeated Mau and became a warrior. "Zena you passed!" Mau told Zena and smiled. "But there is one place you must go, and that's Nocturne Academy for warriors and jesters. There you will learn new skills and gain much experience. You need the token of acceptance to enter." Mau gave a token of acceptance to Zena. "Nocturne Academy is in the town of Verdinsilk. Before you go, I have some items to give you." Mau also gave Zena 10 potions, five curry, a sword, a steel shield, leather boots, and leather armor. "Be careful on the way, and good luck." "Thanks Mau. Hope to see you as soon as I'm done." And Zena went on her way to Verdinsilk.
