James Potter & Draco Malfoy
Where he had come from no one knew and Draco wouldn't say all he had ever told James was "I come from a place where I can't make a difference, but here I still can".
James would be lying if he said the answer didn't frustrate him because it did and yet he accepted the answer because his boyfriend obviously had good reasons not to tell him.
Even if wouldn't share them.
James just had to trust him and he did trust him.
So his boyfriend had arrived mysteriously, wouldn't say where from and didn't give him straight answer it didn't mean Draco didn't love him.
Even if Sirius did keep saying Draco looked oddly like a spawn of a Malfoy and shouldn't be trusted in a thousand years.
But James had to trust him because if he didn't he couldn't love him and couldn't love him if he didn't trust him.
