A Picture's Worth
By: M14Mouse
Summary: After some letter writing, Samuel decided to take a closer at the pictures. Sequel to Pointing Bullets
Disclaimer: Don't own them
Samuel folded up his letter before putting it aside. He leaned back in his chair and stared at it…thing. Now, what was he suppose to do with it? The kid is probably going to need it back. He didn't know what kind of shape it would be when it got there….
If the future could put a camera into this tiny box, they can fix it when it got back.
He picked it up and pushed the back button.
He shouldn't look. It was none of his business. But he was so damn curious about these boys.
The first picture was kind of strange.
He knew that the kid was Dean. He looked like that he was sleeping but there was something in his arms. He leaned over to look closer and then burst out laughing.
The kid was holding a stuffed animal.
He wondered how long Dean was holding the stuffed animal.
He changed the picture…to…what the hell…?
It looked liked a turkey. A giant pink turkey.
Were the folks in the future crazy?
In the next picture, the kid was standing next to the giant pink turkey.
….
He scratched his head before pressing the button forwarded.
Next picture made him chuckle.
Dean was holding a plate close to his chest…it looked like pie to him. He looked liked that he was going to kill his brother. He could see a fork approaching the pie. He wasn't quite sure. The picture was off. He had to tilt it to see it.
Hell, it still got a chuckle out of him.
The next picture looked liked it was taken by mistake.
It was complete dark. He could see the outline of trees but nothing else.
A shiver went through his body. Something in his gut told him that it wasn't a mistake.
The next picture was him scratch his head again.
It was dark…but there was a light flashing in the distance. He could see the outline of other people. He thought that he could see a stage with something…or someone…someones in the distance. He wasn't quite sure what the hell was going on or where the boys were at...? Was it a damn circus?
The next picture made him cough and then switched to another picture.
He felt a tiny bit uncomfortable look at a woman's chest.
The next picture was a picture of a strange symbol.
His eyes drifted over to his books. Maybe later, he would research it. The boy wouldn't take a picture of it without a reason.
He turned to the next picture.
He knew that it wasn't taken by Sam because it was a picture of Sam himself. His head was on the desk. His arm was acting as a pillow. The boy looked liked that he has been through hell. He could see the dark circles under the kid's eyes.
He had no clue why the picture was taken.
But his gut was telling him that it was something.
Hell, if he knew what.
He sighed as he turned off the phone.
Why did he have a feeling that these future hunters were going to be the death of him?
Damn…just thinking about made him want to take a drink.
End.
