Alyssa was playing with her bricks when Alyson can storming throught the living room, with me not far behind.
"NOOOO daddy's going to get me" Alyson squealed
"Daddy you will be in trouble when mommy gets home, she doesn't like to come home to a messy house" Alyssa told me and her sister
"Your just like you mother Alyssa"
"Thank you for the compliment daddy" She smiled, it almost touching her eyes
"Am i not like mommy" Alyson seemed worried
"Your more like daddy Ally" I used my daughters nickname
Both his daughters looked at each other smiling the famous booth smile, Just then booths cell rang.
"Booth"
"Hey" Brennan greated
"Hi sweetheart"
"I'm on my way home from the lab, are the girls settled"
"Yes... there settled " I stammered, Brennan didn't notice the little white lie.
"Ok i will be home in 10"
"Love you"
"Love you to" I shut my phone and turned around to see two annoyed little girls
"Mommys going to be angry with you" Alyson stated
"she doesn't like it when people lie" Alyssa chimed in
"Well then we wont tell her will we my princesses"
"But that will be lying, and mommy doesn't like lying" The girls seemed worried
"it can be our little secret" I defended
"Hmmm okay" Alyson was the first to give in
"I'm not sure"
"Come on Al" Alyson encouraged her twin
"Okay"
i looked around, the place was a mess
"First to tidy up gets a dollar"
The girls eyes lit up, and they both started running for the toy box.
20 Minutes later
I looked at a tidy living room, my girls did a good job. They were both sitting on the couch in there PJ's just as brennan and Parker walked in.
"MOMMY " the girls squealed when they noticed her
"Hey babies"
Parker went straight to his room after the quick hello I got
"Hey babe" I gave Brennan a quick welcome kiss
"Hey" Brennan looked at her two 5 year old daughters "What are you still doing up"
"We wanted to see you before we went to sleep" Alyson explained
"Well come and give me a hug and kiss and me and daddy will put you both to bed"
"Okay" the girls said together and they both ran into their mothers welcoming arms.
After the girls gave their mother a quick hug, she carried Alyssa and I carried Alyson into their bedroom.
After being placed into their princess beds, I gave the girls a kiss goodnight, soon followed by Brennan giving them a kiss goodnight
"Love you daddy, Love you Mommy" the girls said
"Love you to sweethearts"
"Daddy loves you to my little princesses, sleep tight" then i closed their door.
