Prologue: Joining Fenrir

I've been assigned to Fenrir Far East Branch. I'm a bit scared because I've been wavering about what I have to decide. I only remembered a few things but I can still remember every bit of it.

~~Flashback~~

"Step into the pod. Try to calm down a bit. It'll help you relax. You'll feel a bit nauseous but it'll be all over quickly"

-Places my hand in the pod-

(I'm not so sure about this. But I can't turn back now)

-the pod closes shut-

Being a rookie is just a bit unfair to me. I train a lot to become a powerful Gods Eater. But I forgot it was only a month before that "Bias Factor Injection" as they call it.

I stepped in to the Lobby. But some people prefer it to be called "The Den Gate". I don't know what it means but it's a great name.

I'm just excited to how my first day would be.

~~After a few days~~

It was a boring first few days but I've been sent to take out Aragami. I got a few items from the vendor and now I have good equipment to start with.

The Iron Maiden, the Polished Buckler, and the Type 50 Autogun II was a good weapon choice for my first day but what I'm excited about is what will be my new companions for this mission.

A Kongou was sighted and we're asked to exterminate it. I froze a bit since an Aragami that big could kill me. But a person held my shoulder and said.

"Just relax! It'll turn out to be fine." The guy said to me and I calmed down a bit

That guy I was expecting turned out to be a girl. Her name was Alisa. I heard a lot about her and she's a top notch Gods Eater of this branch.

We went to a place I've never been before. But she knew every square feet of this place. I took a little while to look around and I spotted the Kongou; It was beginner's luck I guess, but I found it.

I shot a few bullets with my God Arc and it somehow did nothing. It rolled towards me and I barely dodged it. I tried to get back up but I got afraid of getting ran over by that beast again.

I thought of throwing a stun grenade and called Alisa to take out the Kongou. But she's too far ahead so I have no options left to choose from
