Roxy Lalonde was being transferred to the Gem-management division of Crocker-corp's massive empire. For a troll, this was punishment; for a human, a death sentence.
As the last free human on the what was left of the planet Earth, Roxy felt utter defeat as the Batterwitch waved her away, Roxy's chains clattering as she was manhandled by two burly blue bloods to a bright red streamlined scout ship.
"See you never" one of them smirked as he tossed her into the vessel, Roxy's curses falling on deaf ears. The Hatch closed, and the cabin flooded with a viscous gel, and The Rouge of Void knew the battle was over, and the Witch had won. When Roxy Awoke next, the Ship's autopilot was over a third of the way to Crocker-corp's base near the Gems' Homeworld. The fluid kept Roxy alive without need for food, drink, and any waste was recycled as fuel for the ship itself. She blinked, and fell back into a deep and dreamless sleep, feeling -oddly enough- safe for the first time in her 16-year-old life.
The second time she awoke, she vainly sought to escape her metal bonds by any means possible. Roxy tried to pull them apart and grind them together, hoping to make them wear down or snap in half. She dared not to throw herself at the walls, for fear of ejecting herself into the vacuum of space. Her energy soon wore out, and she fell back into the darkness, like that of the dreaming dead.
The ship had landed softly, and sat on the grey surface of Crocker-Asteroid-A314-11 for about half an hour before Roxy opened an eye to see where the ship had landed. Through the Murky substance, she saw two humanoid figures running towards the ship (she laughed coldly at this thought 'humanoid' she scoffed, 'pah'), and was rather pleased to notice the station was on fire. /serves 'em right/ she thought groggily, as she peacefully sank back into her coma-like state.
The humanoids had reached the ship. The round pearls on their head and the bright yellow rhombus on their blue skin tight outfit signified their rather lowish rank as gems in the service of their leader, Yellow Diamond. One of them gently touched the outside of the ship, and hopped on top. She peered through the glass, and seeing someone who was not a troll shocked her a little. She also noted the person was restrained, and with metal of all things.
The pearl motioned to her companion, who went off to notify their commander of the new discovery.
Roxy was jarred to her senses when she felt an electric current run through her. It was barely enough to set her hair on edge, but it woke her up nevertheless.
She pushed herself up from the rather embarrassing position she was in (splayed face first on the floor), and felt that her clothes were rather sticky, as well as that the chains were no longer on her person. She also noted the two- what were they? The figures were dressed in light blue suits that expose only their heads and hands, with a yellow diamond emblazoned on their chests. Their pink, spiky hair clashed with their blue eyes and the round, glistening gem that seemed to be embedded in their heads.
