"Minseok, do you know where the fuck you're going?" Chanyeol yelled from the backseat of the van, growing impatient from taking four wrong turns and now driving around in circles.
"Chanyeol!" Junmyeon scolded him.
"What? We've been driving around in circles for 20 minutes now, not to mention taking four wrong turns. Four!" Chanyeol retorted back at the leader.
Junmyeon sighed. Him and the other members thought it would be nice to enjoy their vacation by taking a road trip together, just the 9 of them, to a place they had never visited before. However, their GPS died and now they had no idea where they were headed. To make matters worse, their phone didn't get service out here. How convenient.
"Minseok, we have to do something. We can't just drive around in circles forever. It's making it worse," Chanyeol yelled again.
"Chanyeol, if you're going to yell at me, why don't I pull over and you can drive," Minseok retorted, not taking his eyes off the road.
Chanyeol grunted and stared out the window, not saying another word. The car became filled with tension and awkwardness. Kyungsoo, who was sitting in the passenger's seat next to Minseok, looked over at the dash and said, "Minseok hyung, we're going to run out of gas soon." Minseok looked down at his dash and saw that Kyungsoo was right. The gas was very close to the E.
"Fuck," he whispered under his breath. At that moment, as if on cue, the car began to slow down and Minseok slowly pulled over onto the grass, nothing in sight else in sight except a bunch of trees, perhaps a forest. After stopping the car, he put it in park and turned it off. The few members that were asleep in the back woke up.
"W-where are we?" Yixing asked, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
"We're out of gas," Kyungsoo replied.
"Oh," was Yixing's only response. The members sat in silence for a long time in disbelief at the situation. How obscure for something like this to happen. Why hadn't they been more careful? Why hadn't they attached tracking devices to themselves incase something like this happened? Why hadn't they brought a backup GPS? They honestly didn't think they would travel this far by themselves, but now they had no idea where they were. They felt like idiots.
Jongin, who has tired of waiting in the silent car, announced, "I'm going for a walk."
"What? Jongin, we have no idea where we are, you can't just take off like this," Junmyeon warned him.
"Hyung, we're in the middle of nowhere, stuck in our car that doesn't operate at the moment. There are no signs of civilization for miles, and I wouldn't count on any rescue coming to save us soon. Besides, we've been sitting in this car for too long and my legs are aching. I'm going to take a walk."
Again, Junmyeon sighed. Jongin was right, there really was nothing they could do at the moment. He knew that once their manager knew they had been gone for too long and none of the members had contacted him, someone would try to find them, but he didn't know how long that would be.
"I'm going to take a walk too," Baekhyun called, also tired of sitting in the car for so long. The rest of the members remained in the car, watching as Baekhyun and Jongin disappeared into the vast, green forest.
