I may be in love with her, but she doesn't return my feelings.
I may be her hero, but that's all I'll ever be to her.
She may kiss me after saving her, but it is only out of gratitude.
I may feel sad sometimes, but I'll cope. I have her friendship.
She may take me for granted, but I'll always be there for her.
She may be a princess, but she treats me as her equal.
I may never marry her, but that's okay.
I may never be a prince, but I am a king.
King of the friendzone.
