"What do you write about?" Rachel asked as she looked up from her book; stared at the blonde who was typing away on her computer. The two were in the study. Rachel sat on the futon in the corner of the room, while her girlfriend's back was faced towards her. You could see the reflection of the determined blonde's face on the computer screen.
Originally, Quinn had promised that they would be sharing a leisure day today. However, when Rachel awoke this morning, she found herself alone in their bed. Nonetheless, Rachel Berry knew Quinn Fabray well enough to know why she had woken up to a cold and empty bed.
Apparently, during the early hours of that Saturday morning, Quinn had an idea that was ringing in her head. She did not want to lose said idea, so the woman got out of the bed and quietly walked towards the study, where her computer was.
A few hours later, Rachel would find the girl in the study. Quinn apologized for her absence when the diva arose from her slumber. Rachel, being the person she was, forgave her love. Afterward, the small brunette would make them both a cup of coffee and a small breakfast; that consisted of toasted bread and blueberry jam. For the next hour, they would find themselves where they were minutes ago, quite—but content—with Rachel reading a book and Quinn writing another story.
Quinn stopped typing. She swiveled her chair around, in order to face the brunette. Quinn laid her right arm on the armrest of her chair, and laid her head in her hand. She thought for a while. Her lips curved once she knew what to respond with.
"I write about the people I have never met, the people I have met, the people I will meet." She took and breath and continued, "The places I can only dream to set foot in, the places I have gone to, the places I will go to; the people I have never got to love, the people I have loved, the people I will love."
Rachel was thrown off by the last part. "Am I one of those people?" Quinn got to love her, and she knew that Quinn loved her very much. Quinn had her heart and she had Quinn's. Yet, the girl could not see if her girlfriend did, in fact, write about her.
"No." Quinn answered plainly, still holding those curved pink lips.
"Why?" Rachel suddenly felt hurt and very confused. The blonde across from her only smiled at her confusion.
"Because I'm in love with you." Quinn said. Once the response got through the diva's head, she smiled at the blonde beauty. Rachel was not one of those people, because Rachel Berry was inevitable. Quinn Fabray was unable to not love the Jewish girl. In every world, there was a Rachel Berry and Quinn Fabray, and they would always—no matter when or how—fall in love.
They stared lovingly at each other. Rachel laughed and sat back into the futon. "Always the charmer, Fabray." She said as she got back to the book she was reading.
"Always." The blond beauty said back and went back to writing.
Quinn Fabray would always love Rachel Berry.
Always.
