The days they spent together lasted forever. The only thing they cared for was each other's company. They laughed at things that weren't funny. Cried at things that weren't even sad. Members of the public jealous of the looks they shared. Looks of affection. Admiration. To some people, love doesn't exist unless you acknowledge it in front of other people. But to them, they could be the only people on Earth and their love would be as strong as ever. However, though their love was obvious to the rest of the world, neither of them realised it just yet.

The days off work were the most up at 10am and lying in the peace forever. Going for a late breakfast in the cafe. Watching films snuggled on the couch with popcorn and alcohol. These were the days they had, where the memories were made. Wednesday ewas date night. Picnics in the park, films in the cinema or just a simple meal. Their lives panning out like they did in the movies. Like a fairytale.

Sleepless nights when either of them were away. Coming home and swearing to never leave again. Until the next time when they would repeat this routine.

Their moods had changed drastically, all their family and friends telling them so. Always with smiles on their faces and if they didn't, it was always back by their lunch breaks where they got to be in each other's presence again.

They denied it though. Everyone said they were in love. They always laughed it off. Pretended that they didn't ask themselves that question every night. Lay in bed wondering whether the other thought the same, as if they were communicating through body movements, without speech. Neither of them had the guts to admit it. Both scared of being hurt. Of admitting that they had finally found their 'soul mate' and that they were falling. Hard.
