"I understand that you miss him, Cho," Harry whispered, brushing her hair from her face. "But I want you to know that I'm here for you. You know, if you ever want to talk." Or snog, he added in his head.

Cho looked up at him with big, sad eyes. Harry then gripped her chin and lifted it up so their lips could meet. Seconds into the kiss, though, Luna burst into the library, and Harry and Cho broke apart.

"Cho!" Luna cried, running up to them. "Oh, hullo, Harry," she added quickly, then turned back to Cho. "They've got cranberries! Freshly picked!" she exclaimed. Luna grabbed Cho's hand and pulled her away from the bookcase Harry had her pressed up against. "Come onnnnnnnn! Before they're all gone!"

"Bye, Harry," Cho mumbled, fingering her lips briefly. A tear trickled down her cheek as she said it, but took off with Luna back to the Great Hall right after.

"Bye," Harry sighed, holding his head in his hands.
