"SANTA! OH MY GOD!" Danny screamed as he and his friends walked through the mall.
"Danny!" Sam said as she punched his arm. "No more Elf for you!"
"Why not?" Danny asked innocently.
"Because every time we watch it, you scream a random line!" Sam said.
"At least he didn't sing the "I'm in a store" song or something," Lyndsay said matter-of-factly.
"DON'T GIVE HIM ANY IDEAS!" Tucker and Sam yelled.
"That, is an excellent idea, Lyndsay," Danny said with a mischievous smile.
"I'm singing! I'm in a mall and I'm singing! I'M IN A MALL, AND I'M SINGINGGGGGGG!"
"Well," Tucker said. "If you can't beat 'em,"
"Join 'em?" Sam and Lyndsay said simultaneously.
"I'm here! With my dad!" Lyndsay started.
"And he wants me to sing him a song!" Sam continued.
"And, um, I was adopted!" Tucker sang.
"But you didn't know I was born!" Danny chorused.
"So I'm here now!" Sam yelled.
"DADDY!" Tucker screamed.
"And, guess what?" Lyndsay asked.
"I LOVE YOU!" Danny sang.
"I LOVE YOU! I LOOOOOOVVVVEEE YOU!" they all sang loudly, (and off-key, if you asked anyone at the mall that day).
The foursome sat down breathlessly at the fountain as they laughed at the passersby giving them dirty looks.
"What's with everyone looking at us like we're crazy?" Sam asked with false naivety.
"Um, like? I think we are crazy," Tucker said, panting.
"And to think," Danny said. "I was one of those Scrooges last year."
"Hard to believe," Lyndsay said with a grin.
"I know, right?" Sam replied.
"Shall we sing on the way out?" Tucker asked in a phony accent.
"What other songs are there in Elf?" Danny asked.
"You better watch out," Lyndsay chorused.
"You better not cry," Sam continued.
"You better not pout," Tucker sang.
"We're tellin' you why," the three harmonized.
"Santa Claus is comin', to TOWN!" Danny started.
And they sang all the way home.
