It was a friday night, and because both boys didn't have practice that night, they'd holed up in Kise's (Well, they both referred to it as their house now, but…) house to have a nice, much needed night of relaxing.
They'd watched a movie, made dinner together, even played a few games; but now they were just sitting down on the couch next to each other to enjoy the hot fudge sundae they'd made; complete with a bright red cherry on top. The two ate and talked quietly and laughed and listened to the music Kise had left on in the kitchen from when they'd made dinner.
Well, the sundae was quickly eaten by the two lovers until only the cherry remained; not really thinking, Kise moved to scoop it up and eat it, when Kuroko snatched it off of his spoon with a frown. "What are you doing, Kise-kun? The cherry is mine." he sighed, as if this were obvious, though the blonde thought otherwise.
"No fair! We only had the one, and I let you have more ice cream!" he whined, though the blue haired boy ignored him and teasingly put the cherry between his teeth, about to bite into it when Kise abruptly leaned forward and kissed him, causing the cherry to drop into his mouth instead, though Kuroko was quickly to swipe it back into his own, though he ended up accidentally dropping it back into the bowl.
Immediately, both stared each other down and gripped their spoons tighter, trying their best to grab the cherry faster than the other to no avail; eventually Kise simply pulled the bowl away and lifted the cherry into his mouth, leaning in to offer half to Kuroko, who pouted a little. "But I wanted all of it…" he mumbled, leaning forward and brushing his lips against the model's, biting his half of the sweet little fruit off and eating it slowly, watching Kise do the same, the blonde smiling and flicking his tongue out to lap up some of the juice that slipped from the corner of Kuroko's mouth.
Of course, after that it turned out that neither of them were okay with just one cherry and they ended up running to the store to get a whole bag of them to share with each other before bed.
Still, none of those had tasted nearly as good as the one they'd shared with a kiss earlier.
