"Percy!" The knock on my door startled me, I groaned, groggy from the restless night.

I wiped the sleep from my eyes, clicked on the lamp, and threw open the shades, revealing New York at its quietist.

"Percy!" My mother exclaimed again.

"Ya Mom? I'm up!" I croaked.

"Percy! You have a visitor; she says she has important news." She chimed.

I sighed pulling a shirt over my head. "Yeah, uh, tell Annabeth I'll be right there!"

She pauses. I can hear her rocking back on her heals. "It's not Annabeth,"

"Then tell Thalia…"

"It's not Thalia either, Percy." She cut me off.

"Oh, Rachel's back? She's early!" I jumped off my bed, Rachel wasn't supposed to be back for two more weeks, and I was excited for more news from the Oracle.

"Percy, it's not Rachel either!"

"Then who is it?" I dropped the jeans I was holding.

"Well, I'm no expert, but from the looks of it, I think she's a goddess."

Three minutes later I bolted down the hallway to a new face standing their, even in modern clothing you could almost see the history flying off her teenage skin.

"Lady Artemis!"

"Good morning Percy, I'm sorry for the earliness of the hour. We Olympians are not necessarily late sleepers." She smiled, shaking my hand.

"Where are the Huntresses?"

"They're outside, I wasn't sure…if your home was large enough to hold all of them."

I smiled, "Tell them to come on in."

"Hey Percy!" Annabeth and Thalia came bolting towards me.

"Annabeth are you-"I chocked off, trying not to vomit.

"No…no! Artemis simply gave me a ride." She smiled. "It's nice to see you sea-weed brain,"

I smirked. "You too wise-girl."

"Um, not to sound rude," My mom started. "But, why are you here?" She popped open a coke, and sat down on the brown faded chair.

"I'm here on business from Zeus." She looked solemn. "And I have to tell you, it's not pleasant."
