Name: Alex Jersey/A.J.
Age:17
Powers: Electricity
Code Name: Voltage
Looks: Electric Blue Eyes; Medium Length Jet-Black Hair; Fair Skin; 5'7; 115 lbs;
Background: Was raped when she was thirteen and has a four year old daughter named Isabelle/Izzie. Rogue's cousin. Alex's parents discovered she was a mutant three weeks after Rogue arrived at Xaviers Institute.
I crouched a little and slid my
daughters small hand into mine.
She looked up at me with heartbreakingly sweet brown eyes.
"C'mon sweetie," I said in a voice that made her giggle.
Taking a breath, I looked into the food court of the Xavier Institute.
I saw Rogue sitting next to two guys, One messing with a lighter and the other smiling goofily at Rogue.
She looked up and saw me.
I saw her say something to the guys and they all looked up at Izzie and I.
Rogue stood up and ran over to me.
I picked Izzie up and met Rogue halfway.
"Oh Hi Isabelle, Aj!"
"Hi Rogue!" I gave her a big hug.
"Mommy I can't breath." Izzie croaked from in between Rogue and I.
"So you're the famous 'Alex'" The one who was messing with the lighter said.
"Oh, This is John." Rogue said, gesturing to the boy.
"Hey." He said and offered me his hand to shake.
"Sup." I shook his hand.
After a minute, Rogue nudged me and gestured to Isabelle.
"Ah, John, this is My daughter Isabelle."
"Yo." Izzie said in her small voice and Rogue said "Aww…"
"Daughter?" John said with raised eyebrows.
"Yeah…Tell you about it on our date tomorrow night."
I picked up Izzie and walked up to the room Rogue and I were sharing, leaving both Rogue and John looking confusedly at each other.
"Mommy what's a date?" Izzie asked.
"Uh, It's a big girl thing." I invented.
It's not that she couldn't know what dates were, it's just that explained why people went on dates and all that would take a while and bring up some unwanted questions.
"What about this one?" I asked my audience of two, Rogue and Izzie, what they thought of a navy blue silky dress.
"You wook wike a pwrincess mommy!" Izzie clapped her most likely sticky hands together.
I smiled at her and looked to Rogue.
"It's really pretty, but not the right thing for a date with John."
"What do you mean?" I asked Rogue, tossing the dress aside and sitting next to her.
"Well, He's, Well, You'll see."
"'Well He's Well I'll See?" I mocked. "Is that good or bad?"
"W-"
"Don't even bother to finish that sentence if it won't tell me anything at all like your last one." I pointed at her suspiciously.
She smiled. "I've forgotten how much I've missed you."
"Awww…" I reached over and hugged her.
