Coraline never did know what answer to give.
She would have usually said no, and would have probably ran away at the absurdity of it, but she remembered that this woman, unlike her true parents, had taken care of her, nurtured her, and loved her.
Like a mother would. A true mother.
She took a look at the buttons, and made her decision. For her mother, of nothing else. And this time, she knew it would finally be real. Something that she had craved for a long time, but never did experience.
