{Prompt: So if you're crazy, I don't care you amaze me - Whistle for the Choir}

Kirkwall has never been full of romance or anything romantic at all. It's a town full of corruption, bandits, murder, and dark things. Yet, when Hawke came into the picture, things started to change. Slowly, very slowly, a motion was set in place. Kirkwall nights started to become safer as she took down bandits, people were put in their place, and the threat of the Qunair was stopped thanks to her. Now she stands proudly as Guinevere Hawke, Champion of Kirkwall. She went from being a refuge from Ferelden to being a proud Nobel. Yet, her title is just a title. Beneath it though, she talks of how she could not be where she is without her loyal friends. She is the happiest when she is surrounded by her friends in the Hangedman.

Anders often wonders why Hawke had chosen him over anyone else in the city of Kirkwall to be with. Every time he asks her about it, she reflects a question as to why he chose her, or swerves it to her latest exploit with Varric or Isbella. Today, however, would be the day he finds out.

He crossed his arms as he stared out the window, his brow furrowed as he watched Hawke approach the Estate and turned toward the stairs. It did not take long for her to appear at the base of them, and even less time for her to walk right up. "Hello love." Anders greeted her, walking over to her and embracing her into a warm hug that she gladly returned.

"I want to talk to you…privately." He said, putting his hand on the small of her back and leading her toward their room before she could object.

"What is it Anders?" Guinevere asked, raising a brow as she sat herself down at the edge of the bed. Anders stared at her for a moment before finally speaking.

"Guinn, I want a straight answer. No dodging or deflecting the question. Why, out of the few of us who showed interest in you, did you choose me? I am an abomination and a mage…" He said, looking her in the eye, showing determination.

Guinn sighed, shaking her head for a second, and then looked up, meeting his eyes again. "Did you forget I am a mage too?" She asked, but continued to talk. "Anders, the moment I saw you I felt a connection, it was small but I felt something. You and I share a desire to free the mages, if not a bit more extreme on your part…" She said, closing her eyes.

"The more adventures we went on the closer we got. I started to get excited to see you, and couldn't wait to go bandit killing, or mage freeining." She looked up at him, standing up and wrapping her arms around him. "And I do not care about the fact you have an abomination inside you, because you amaze me. You fight so hard to keep him in check at the same time as fighting for mages."

She looked him in the eye, and saw a smile come across his face. "I don't care if you are crazy, you amaze me…I'll love you till the day I die." She said, pressing her lips to his in a passionate kiss that he gladly returned.
