So this was a prompt that someone on tumblr gave me. It's AU as Naruto's mother is alive and she acts like a normal mother should :3

She had only been over at Naruto-kun's a few times before this. Despite her family treating her with respect, she still felt like she was intruding somehow. She lost her mother when she was young, so she wasn't familiar with the way a mother and daughter interacted.
"Hinata-chan, could you come here for a second?"
Not wanting to oppose the older woman, she nodded shyly before approaching the beautiful yet intimidating woman.
"I thought I would show you some of Naruto's baby pictures since he's not around."
"Ano…"
Kushina hummed lightly before Hinata spoke up, "Are you sure he'd be okay with this ?"
She chuckled, "I don't see why not. You two are getting married in a few months. It's only natural that you'd see some of his embarrassing moments."
Sitting down beside her soon to be mother-in-law, Hinata twiddled her thumbs nervously as she started shifting through book after book. She couldn't help the smile on her face as she saw Naruto with different expressions. Ones of happiness, of sadness, of anger. She couldn't help but giggle when she saw a picture of him and his father fighting with each other.
There was one picture that caught her off guard, and Kushina noticed her expression change .
"That was when he had surgery . It seems him and his father went too far and he dislocated his shoulder. He was fine after that, but I remember taking this picture and laughing at how happy he seemed. I always found it strange that he would be smiling in this photo, but it just showed how strong my little Naruto-kun is."
Hinata nodded in agreement before shifting her gaze through all the other pictures. Kushina felt herself becoming just a little bit closer with her daughter-in-law. It seemed there was one thing they shared.
Their love for their beloved Naruto-kun.
