The End?

Summery- The way I hoped the books would have ended.
Disclaimer- I own nothing but the plot.
"Mom?" The man's fingers out stretched to touch the red head's fair skin, "Dad?" He turned his gaze to his father, his hair like his own and his eyes with held sorrow. He looked at her once more, "Mom? Am I really here? Am I really dead? Mom?"
"Lily?" Asked a persistent voice from her right side. Her eyes cracked open to reveal two emerald green eyes. Looking around her the seventeen-year-old teen noticed that a crowd had gathered, all of them had their eyes on her. She looked up at the person who had his hand resting on her lower back. "Lily, are you ok?" His brown eyes held concern; Lily all but backed away. She pushed herself up from the ground and bolted, down the hall and into the Gryffindor Common Room once more. She leaned against the portrait heavily as images flashed in her mind…
He had fallen to the ground, called out to her. She was there, not entirely but she was there.
He had cried when he saw all of his friends dead. Hermione had her hair thrown across her lovely face. Ron had tear lines running down his own grubby face. He had blamed himself for all of the deaths, because they were fighting for him. For his existence, he never wanted anyone else to die. So he killed the evil man, and than himself. He couldn't stand one more goodbye. However, he had not lost everyone, she was there, she was still there, she always had been. Guess that was not enough.
"Evans?" asked an attentive voice. She realized that she had fallen down; she had her head resting in her arms. Tears were flowing down her rosy cheeks; her carrot colored hair was a mess. She hated the sight of herself, she was ashamed and she wished he would just leave her be. "What's wrong?" he asked again, he placed his hand on her shoulder and she felt her heart jump at the contact.
"Leave me alone." She choked out raising her head to look at the person whom she was supposed to hate.
"God, Lily," he whispered at the sight of her face, "What happened? What caused this?"
"Just leave me alone," she croaked out, not really wanting him to leave.
"No," his stubbornness kicked in, "You should know by now that can't get rid of me that easy. Tell me what's wrong."
She closed her eyes and allowed herself to be collected into his arms, "I'm sorry. He just couldn't hold on any longer. I could- I couldn't help him."
"Couldn't help who?" He asked desperately, "Couldn't help who Lily?"
She gazed up at the young man before her, "Harry. Harry James Potter. Our son."
James' mouth fell open and his eyes widened, "What do you mean?" he questioned feeling his heart retch at the mention of that person. It could not be true could it?
"We died, and than he died." Lily shook her head in sorrow, "I'm so sorry. I didn't know what to do."
"I should have listened," He whispered to himself, "I should have listened to him when he said that you would be able to have one vision. Why didn't I listen?"
Lily shook her head, "Who said I'd have one vision? Who said that James?" She had moved herself to calling him James instead of Potter. It just didn't seem to fit anymore.
"Voldemort." He said, "What else did you see?"
"His whole life. It was miserable, all because we died. Oh James, how are we going to change it?"
"I'll find a way. I promise," he whispered, "This isn't going to happen. Not this time around."
