A/N: Before reading this, know that I have completely(or at least partially) rewritten this. This is because of a review made by a Guest. So I thought I'd take their advice! Anyway, enjoy the revised 1st chapter of The Boy On The Milk Carton.
Kurt smiled as he lied in the grassy fields in his backyard with his best friend, Blaine Anderson. Summer was his favorite time of year. He was truly in love with the season. He let his grin lessen as he looked over at the boy next to him, whose eyes were sealed in bliss. Kurt and Blaine have been best friends since they were children, and they never wanted anything to change that, they were determined nothing would change that. Least that's what they hoped for.
"Blaine?" The smaller boys head turned to meet those gorgeous blue eyes he knew and loved. He let a smile instantly form on his lips. Kurt was so beautiful, so beautiful that he couldn't describe it in word form. But he could try..., right?
"I wanted to...ask you something." Blaine gulped silently as he felt nervousness start to bubble to the surface. "We've been...friends for years and...I need to tell you something."
"Sure Kurt, anything." This was it, the words that would change his life forever...
"Um..." Oh no, Kurt thought...not again, "I'm...I-" It's now or never, just say it!-"I...like guys...the way I should...like girls."
Blaine smiled and took Kurt's hand in his and lied back down beside him, he looked him directly in the eyes and said, "Me too."
Kurt felt an overwhelmingly amount of relief wash over him in waves upon waves. But then, he could see Blaine's expression change, and then, felt something turn in his stomach. Undeniable love and lust. Both boys leaned in and let their lips graze until finally closing the small space between them with a kiss.
Their lips moved together in a sort of waltz as Kurt opened up his mouth slightly and allowed Blaine's tongue to slip inside. Kurt felt a moan rip from his thought as the coil only became stronger. They soon back up for air and after a few gulps swiftly traveled to their lungs, they leaned in once more but then heard-
"Stay away from my son!" Both boys looked up to see an obviously pissed Mr. Anderson. The Andersons and the Hummels had been friends for years, ever since their sons became connected. But, as it was a time of discrimination for everyone who was different, anyone who wasn't white, and...y'know...straight. The people of 70s Lima, Ohio didn't really understand the sudden boom with the popularity of "the gays" with acts like Queen and David Bowie suddenly defining a generation. And of course, didn't welcome it with open arms. Especially...The Anderson Family.
Kurt slowly got up with tears in his eyes. To try not to anger the older Anderson, he just started backing away...Blaine, petrified with fear, was scared to stand up for Kurt because he was dead terrified. Not wanting to face his father's rath.
"Go. I never wanna see you and my son ever again. Got it?" Kurt was about to open his mouth, when-
"I love him, Dad." Michael turned his pissed-off expression to his son. Blaine stood there, a lump in his throat and his heart on his sleeve. "I do. And I...I wanna be with him!"
Michael stomped right in front of his son's fearful face and growled out, "Go."
