"Doctor, how old are you?" Amy asked one time as they sat in the TARDIS.
"I'm 907 years old," he answered absent-mindedly.
"According to what?"
Looking up from the console, he asked, what do you mean?"
"Well, I'm twenty-six in Earth years but how can you tell how old you are? I mean are they Earth years, Galifrayen, TARDIS years? If you're always skipping around time zones and planets, how can you know how old you are?"
"That's a good question, Pond, but I don't have an answer. I just know."
apparently that wasn't a good enough answer because she said, "I don't know what day of the week it is and you just know? How is that even possible?"
"Oh, Pond, I would have thought you would have figured it out by now," he paused before explaining, "Time is a big ball of timey-whimey stuff that is extremely complicated. I am a Time Lord and I just know."
Amy pouted and assumed the Doctor was right again. She stood leaving the console room, planning on going for a swim when the Doctor called out to inform her: "It's Tuesday, by the way."
Just a quick A/N: So this was my first DW fic so please let me know what you thought... or if you might have an idea how he keeps track of his age.
Disclaimer: I do not own DW.
