Kai couldn't believe his eyes. He had gone back on his baby bizon to help the others but instead he saw the most terrible thing. Tenzin could die any moment.
Zaheer was airbending the air out of Tenzin lungs and there was nothing he could do. He had tried to save him but that crazy waterarms lady held him captive and pinned him against the wall so he couldn't do other then watch.
First Tenzin tried to airbend himself out of the situation but the moment Zaheer started to play with the air in his lungs he couldn't do a single thing. He fell on his knees and grabbed his throat as he tried to keep breathing in the air ball around his head but it was no use. His eyes bulged and you saw the realisation hit him. He was going to die in the following 10 seconds. With his last power he turned to face Kai who was watching the scene with tears on his face. Kai looked at his master who always seemed so powerful and sometimes even scary, but now he didn't look at that at all. Tenzin's eyes said more than a thousand words and with a last nod at him the glance in his eyes vanished and he fell with his back on the gound.
"No…NO!" Kai screamed wrestling to get out of the waterbender her arms. Tears were streaming down his cheeks, this man may have been his mentor but he was much more than that. He had took him in and when Kai thought about it he was even a father to him. He respected him so much, but it was too late to tell him that. He was gone.
"HOW COULD YOU!? THIS MAN WAS SO IMPORTANT FOR SO MANY PEOPLE IN THE BEST WAY, AND NOW HE'S GONE." Kai felt angry, angry on the Red Lotus but also angry at himself for not being able to do something. He thought of Pemma and Ikki and Meelo, and he thought about Jinora, how must they feel. "How could you…" He couldn't bring more out then a whisper. Suddenly he felt something heavy hit his head and the last thing he saw was Tenzin. But it wasn't Tenzin anymore, it was just an empty casing.
