In the halls of Sky High a tall girl with long black hair and beautiful gray eyes stud next to her best friend and her long time crush Warren Peace. Phoenix smiles at Warren as he tells her about the girl he was seeing.
Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see
That I want and I'm needing everything that we should be
I'll be she's beautiful, that girl he talks about
And she's got everything that I have to live without
Phoenix laughs silently to herself as she continues to smile at Warren as he continues talking about his girl.
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do
It was another day at Sky High and Phoenix was waiting by her locker for Warren, but as she looks down the hall she suddenly catches her breath as Warren walks by her and passes her. Her loving gave following him as she watches Warren and the girl Warren had been talking about for a long while embrace.
Later that day after getting off the bus Phoenix's drives silently home, once there she turns off the lights before going to her room and sitting on her bed as she eyes wonder towards the picture of her and Warren. In the picture it was where they were standing together with Warren's arm around her, both smiling. She smiles and stares at Warren's picture longingly before slowly putting it face down before going to bed. Hopefully getting some sleep tonight.
Another halls of Sky High, Phoenix was once again smiling at Warren as he stares at her as he stands by his locker.
Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see.
