Title: Spots

I had a friend when I was a little boy. When I was a very young Hyuuga. A lot of friends, actually. One in particular, came from far away. He had a canine pet, which reminded me frequently of the Inuzuka clan. He had a...dalmation, he calls it. He doesn't name him, though. He just called him Puppy. The appearance of this dog was strange, since it had the biggest number of spots I've seen.
That night, at the Hyuuga compound, I asked my father about the large dog.
"Why does he have so many spots?" I ask him. He laughs heartily at that question.
"Because, Little Neji, he has so many people to love. He has many spots because he loves your friend a lot. The more spots he has, the more he loves him." I think I understood.
The next day, I told my friend about my discovery.
"You think so?" He asked me. I nodded. I told my other good friend about it too. Tenten. Talking to her always made me feel funny inside.
"That makes a lot of sense," she told me, throwing one of those ninja weapons they call a kunai at a target. "So, what kind of dog was it again?"
"Ask him. I don't remember."
It happened a week later. Something strange. I...I grew...spots! But, they were itchy. Very itchy...
That explains why my friend's dog itched so much.
And that funny feeling I get when I talk to Tenten...That is kinda strange. Wait a minute...
I grew lots and lots of itchy spots in just a week...
Wow, I must love her a lot!
But, my father gasped when he saw me in spots the first time. Everyone in the Hyuuga compound did.
"Otou-san!" I yelled happily to him, "Guess what? I grew spots because I love Tenten!"
"Well," he said to me with a disgusted look on his face,"If you really love her, stay away from her." I frowned.
Does father not like Tenten?
"In fact, stay away from everyone."
