Chapter 1
It had just dawned on her that she would be leaving for college soon. She was happy about the fact that she could finally say goodbye to Degrassi, but the though of going away to colleg still frightened her. She was leaving all of her friends behind, and starting a new life. It will be a good experiance, but she has always had friends here, and now she will have to make new ones.
"Oh Well" she said outloud to herself as she packed the last of her bags.
The day was young and she was finally ready to head to her new home. She got into her car and started it up. She left the driveway without looking back. She finally got onto the busy street when a car crashed into her driver side door and everything went black.
She opened her eyes and she was looking down upon her body in a hospital bed. She looked around the room to see her family and friends gathered around the bed. She noticed that she was still alive, so why was she not inside her body. She walked in front of Marco and Ellie, but nobody could see her. If she was not dead than she was not a ghost, so how was she able to be outside of her body. She walked out the door where she noticed more of her friends were waiting outside. She could not beleive this was happening. She tryed to talk to Jimmy and Hazel but they could not hear her. She was so frustrated. She walked down the halls in the hospital and over heard the doctor speaking to one of the nurses.
"I don't know if the girl is going to make it." the doctor said.
"How bad is she?" the nurse asked curious..
"She has some internal bleeding, I stablized it, but Im still not sure she will ever wake up again." said the doctor sadly.
"NNOOOO!" Paige yelled, but nobody could hear her.
"Ill let the family know." said the nurse.
"There has to be someone who can see or hear me." Paige said outloud to herself. She looked around the busy hopital, and then headed back to her room. She walked in just as the nurse was telling her friends and family the news. She was so angry. She could do nothing but stand there while the nurse told her family that there was no hope. Their had to be hope. If she was standing their then she had to be able to wake back up. She looked around the room at the expression on her friends faces. Mostly sadness. Except for Spinner. He had a look of surprise on his face. She noticed that he was looking right at her. She moved over a few steps and his eyes followed her.
"Can you see me?" she asked outloud to him. He just nodded his head. She could not beleive it. There was someone who could see her, which ment that Spinner would be able to help her.
