Through the rain, there stood a big old rundown house. The house had shingles falling off of the roof and the siding was coming off. There had been reports of ghost cannibals in the house. The house was located in Shawna County, California. People go missing in that house. Some say that the cannibals eat the people for spiritual food, others say that they go missing because they get scared and die of fright. One night a group of students at Sacramento State went into the house and they were never heard from again. But the story doesn't end there. In fact there was much more to it than that. The reason the students were never heard from again was because some people say they became part of the ghost cannibal clan and some say that their ghosts haunt the halls of the house. Others say they simply went missing and are now living in Napa Valley with husbands/wives, and children.
At the California Bureau of Investigation, Agents Lisbon, Cho, Rigsby, and Van Pelt were huddled around the couch in Lisbon's office hearing CBI's consultant Patrick Jane talk about his latest theory on the house.
"I think the students did go missing and I think they're dead, but I don't think they're part of the cannibal clan. I think their ghosts haunt the halls of the house looking for revenge for their murders," Jane said.
"Yeah right Jane and even if you're right that they were murdered and are still in the house, I don't think that their ghosts haunt the halls. There's no such thing as ghosts. They probably rigged a couple sheets up on wires to scare people," Lisbon said.
"Are you sure about that my dear Lisbon?" Jane asked her.
"Don't ever call me that again especially in front of my agents. I'm not your 'dear Lisbon' and I'm certainly not anything else except Agent Lisbon and Boss. Only my family on occasion gets to call me Teresa and you only get to call me that outside of work which is not very often. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes Teresa," Jane replied. Lisbon thought to herself, 'He only does that to make me angry, I swear.' She grabbed the case file off of her desk and left the building with the rest of her team.
They reached the house within about an hour. The house was painted an ugly gray color and the paint was peeling. Lisbon and her team went in and talked with the officer that was already there. He directed them to the bodies. The bodies were in a heap in one corner of a room that looked like a bride's room. It had pink carpet and white walls with smidges of pink wallpaper (AN: This is kind of what the bride's room looked like at my grade school). The girl had been placed on top of all of the others. The other three bodies were males. Grace Van Pelt looked around the room looking for a sheet to cover them with. She believed in modesty and this certainly wasn't it. She gave up after not finding one plus she knew that her boss hadn't completed her analysis of the bodies yet. Wayne Rigsby came up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder. She jumped about five feet in the air.
"Rigsby what the hell did you do that for?" Grace asked him in an angry tone.
"I was just making sure you were okay."
"I'm fine, so there's no reason for you to be worried about me." Lisbon came over to their side of the room.
"Rigsby, why don't you and Van Pelt go look for some more evidence on the west side of the house." Lisbon told them.
"Sure boss. Let's go Van Pelt, you heard the boss. More evidence on the west side of the house." They left the bride's room and began their search.
"Jane, why don't you and I go look for evidence on the east side of the house then and Cho can look on the north side."
"Okay sounds like a plan to me."
