The Box
Chapter 1
I was walking down the street when I saw a small wooden box by the road. Suddenly, I heard
voices say, "Help! Let us out of here!" To my surprise, the girls' voices were coming from the box.
"This is crazy," I though," There is no way people
are in a box that small. A microwave could barely fit in that thing!" But, my curiosity set in, and I began to walk towards the box.
As I got closer, I noticed rows of symbols on one side of the box from what seemed to be a foreign language I've never seen before. "Okay, now I'm really curious", I thought as I began to walk a little faster. When I got close enough, I peered into the box."It looks pretty dark." I thought, "Especially since it's sitting in the sun. "Suddenly, a hand reached into the darkness and pulled me in.
Sam awoke with a start, she was lying in her bed. "That's some dream," she thought as she climbed out of bed…
…and fell
into
the dark void
that should
have been
carpeting
