Sesshomaru stood in the doorway too overwhelmed to move. He was full of shock, anger, disappointment, and disgust and it was taking every ounce of his power to hold it all back. He wanted nothing more than to completely blow up, but he knew that would only make things worse. He had to control himself. He had to stay calm. He desperately wanted to just walk out even run as far away as possible, but his legs were not listening to him. The scene before him had him paralyzed and unable to move any part of his body.
'How could this happen? Did I not see the signs? Were there signs?' he thought as his eyes were glued and there was nothing he could do about it. 'What were they thinking? Well they obviously weren't to do something like this.'
Time was standing still and Sesshomaru's head was swirling with thoughts, images, and emotions which was something he wasn't used to. He never thought he would ever have to deal with this kind of situation. He wasn't sure if he wanted to kill someone or throw up. Not only was the scene horrific, but because of his sensitive nose the smell was even worse. He was doing everything he could to avoid breathing through his nose because he wasn't sure how much longer he would be able to hold down his lunch. He just stood there not knowing what to do next. They scrambled to their feet with faces red as tomatoes.
"Dad I can explain." Rin wrapped her half naked body in a robe as an equally naked Kohaku hid behind her.
