3 years change a lot… Chapter 1: The Truth

Robert Langdon sat in the office of Daniel Kohler. He was the nephew of Maximilian Kohler and the new head of CERN. He was about 30, and the only thing he shared with his uncle, except his last name, was, that Daniel was a brilliant scientist. Beside Robert sat his wife- Sophie Neveu. They were married since 5 months.

"I'm very sorry that we never invited you to visit CERN. All this happened 3 years ago and that's a real long time. I'm really sorry for that. And we have to thank you because you helped to get the antimatter back." Kohler said.

"No problem." Then he and Sophie went out of the office. Sophie was really happy. She had never visited CERN before and with Robert it was better. She loved him really. When he had proposed to her months ago she began to cry- of happiness. And the wedding 5 months ago was the best day ever.

Beside the counter, where Sylvie, Kohler's secretary worked, were 2 seats and Robert and Sophie sat there. On the floor was a pink blanket. On the blanket sat a little girl and played with a teddy bear. She wore a white dress with yellow flowers on it. She had shoulder long, brown and curly hair with butterfly-hairclips in it.

"What's your name?" Sophie asked the little girl. With her light blue eyes she looked to Sophie.

"Helena." Then the little girl asked Sylvie

"Where's Mama? I want to her." Sylvie answered.

"She is here." Then Robert saw Helena's mother. In the first moment he didn't know what he should think or say. He looked to Helena and estimated how old she was and then he began to calculate. In front him stood Vittoria, she was Helena's mother.

Vittoria looked to her daughter. This was her worst nightmare. She searched for an explanation but she couldn't find one. She only stood there and did nothing. She couldn't do anything.
