Epilogue
Ashlie woke up and faintly heard whispers. She opened her eyes and saw Flint, her ex-boyfriend, leaning against a tree. She sat up and looked at him.
"Why are we outside and why the bloody hell was I unconscious?" She asked. She saw Flint glance to his right, and then he walked over to her. He started kissing her, so she kissed him back, realizing they had a moment alone together. Her heart started pounding and her head felt heavy. She pushed him away and took out her wand.
"I asked you a question." She
growled
"Actually you asked me two." He said so softly her
skin felt like it was crawling.
"When and if we get back to the
castle, I'm so telling Tobias what you're trying to do. He and
Damien, and probably Chance will mess you up horribly. And I'll
watch and enjoy the show. And maybe after their done, I'll have my
share." she said softly.
"Expelliarmus!" Flint shouted
pointing his wand at her. She was so surprised she forgot the
counter-attack.
"Oof!" she said as she flew and hit a wall.
She got up and looked around. Rings. Stands. The Quidditch Pitch! She
looked back where Flint was and gasped. He wasn't there! In a split
second she was on the ground with her robes thrust over her head.
Then she heard a voice, wait, no two voices and tried moving. 'I'm
in a bloody body bind. Bloody hell. Look what you've got yourself
into now, Ashlie' she thought to herself. She gasped and felt tears
going down the side of her face as she felt a pain between her
thighs. After what seemed like hours, she saw someone in dark robes
come to her left side and kneel down.
"Do it." Said someone
in a raspy voice.
"We're not ready yet. Wait." Said the
person on her left. She remembered something she learned a couple
days ago and tried it.
"Impedimenta!" She shouted with her
mind. She heard a chuckling and felt anger course through her. After
about ten minutes passed, she felt a searing pain on her left forearm
and screamed out. She started screaming louder and longer hoping
someone could hear her. She moved her fingers across the ground
feeling for her wand. When she located it she felt that same anger
again, not knowing where it came from.
"Crucio!"
She felt
a pain, like her body was being ripped and cut into pieces. She
screamed and screamed. After what felt like an hour of screaming, and
the fiery feeling went away, everything slowly started going fuzzy.
The last thing she saw before darkness was a swirl of a black cloak,
a pair of red eyes, which looked like slits glinting in the
moonlight, a face as white and dried out as a skull, and two other
people bending over something on the ground.
