Mother Never Loved Me

A/N: This is a funny (yet slightly creepy) version of Sabaku no Gaara. Well, more of a parody than version, I suppose. It involves Orochimaru. If you want to read the Gaara one, you could go ahead and visit my profile. You'll find it there.

Anyway, enjoy this one. The time is set when Sasuke is at Orochimaru's.

Oh yeah, one more thing, if you're going to read this aloud, read it in a British accent. It gives a great effect.

Dear Orochimaru,

I'm probably dead or gone somewhere by the time you read this. But, I have my things to say. I hated myself for having to born a child like you, but obviously I got used to it. Perhaps that was too harsh. But you were always good at taking offensive comments, darling.

Then again, that's how we lost your little sister. Alas, she was a good child.

However, you were a unique one. I wouldn't say it exactly in a good way, but you know what I mean. You had a strange obsession with snakes as adolescence, and probably still do.

I remember when you dearly took a dying snake home. I thought it was absolutely horrid, and I was appalled. Of course, you never considered my feelings anyway and took it up to your room. When it was all well, you kept it.

But, you ended up squishing it while you held it in your sleep.

You were so terribly saddened.

I think after that, you've changed. You started torturing small furry creatures (like your cat, far as I remember). Then our house smelled of rotten corpses. I ran out of air fresheners.

Then after that, you started dating. Though it was strange (yet slightly normal which frightened me to bits), I tried to accept the way things were. You actually went on a date with a girl before (don't quite recall her name), but I believe you didn't like her very much. For some time you tested out your dates, mostly observing I think. Don't get me wrong; I wasn't spying on you.

Really, I wasn't.

One day, you took me by surprise and went on a date with a male gender of the human race. At first, I felt a bit strange, having my own son go out with a guy. So and so forth, but you never actually settled down. I'm sure you remember these strange memories.

As your mother, I recommend you live your life to the fullest for I haven't mine. You were a demon seed of a child, but I suppose you have me to thank for that.

This little letter of mine rebels against what I've planned to do. I planned, prepared, and thought about everything. I did not realize the sand in my hourglass was running out. Time goes by when you're so occupied. One would sit for days concentrating on one thing and not even become conscious of the world around him.

Nonetheless child, I never did love you. Your sister should have stayed. It saddens me that she could not. I send my condolences for those who end up in your possession. Be a dear and send them for me. Good night.

Signing off,

Your mother

Orochimaru crumpled up the letter he held in his hands. His past had no concern with him and nor did he feel any sympathy for his dead parent.

Sasuke watched him and was observant of what his next move was.

The white-skinned man faced the Uchiha and suddenly spoke aloud.

"Mother never did love me," he said, mainly to himself, then paused for a second. "But I turned out fine."

Sasuke's eyes widened at the irony of the situation. Orochimaru left the cell where his mother was once contained.

A/N: Like I said... Creepy.
