(Sasuke- Age 9 Itachi-Age 13)
"Aniki?" the younger Uchiha looks up to the older Uchiha as they walk through the town, the younger Uchiha named Sasuke, held onto his toy kunai since he wasn't really old enough to handle a real one till he was 10, looks up at his older brother with a questioning glance.
"Hn, Sasuke," the older Uchiha answers, but with no emotion, Sasuke blinks and looks down at his kunai,
"Why is it, father banned me from using real kunais till I'm 10? All the other kids get to have them when their 7, it just seems so unfair." The older Uchiha Itachi looks down upon his little brother and smiles, by ruffling Sasuke's hair.
"Hn, that is true…but their parents are not as important as ours is, our father runs the security around this village, and father does not want his youngest playing with kunais for he is still young." Sasuke frowns and sighs,
"But…I want to learn, so I can protect myself, just in case, something happens." Itachi bends down so he's level with his brother and smiles.
"How about, I teach you…but do not tell father about this, or even mother, she'll most forbid it, more than he would alright?" For Itachi just watching his little brothers face light up like it was the fourth of July, gave his heart a warm glow.
"Really Itachi, you'd do that!"Itachi laughed as he watches his little brother jump around him, acting like a real Ninja.
"Whoa, slow down Sasuke, you can't just jump right into things, it's really complicated, so we're going to take it slow, ok?" Sasuke stop his jumping and faces his brother and nods his head. "Also you have to listen to what I say, or I will not teach you,"
"Hn, I understand, can we start now?" Sasuke pleads, Itachi shook his head,
"No, mother wants her little baby home so she can teach him manners, of the Uchiha,"
"AW, come on Itachi, everyone knows how to act when our parents are in a meeting, and we have to be there, even when I 'was' a baby, I knew how to act, I was always quite," Itachi laughed,
"Yes you were quite, but now you're just noise," Sasuke frown and tilts his head to the side, Itachi grabs his hand and pulls him off to their home, where their mother waited.
"Sasuke, come we must finish this today or your father will be angry." Taking his arm from Itachi's hold she pulls him off the kitchen leaving Itachi staring after his little brother whose eyes were pleading at Itachi to help.
"Aniki!" Sasuke yelled for his life, but Itachi simply shrugs and walks away, leaving his little foolish brother to his mother.
