Sunny-Side Up

Relena woke up, but did not open her eyes. She knew exactly what she would find if she did. Nothing. No one. He was just like that. She always seemed to find him missing, gone, and this morning would be no different. Relena truely longed to be with him, to just know that he would never leave her aide anymore. To know that he would do no more running. The war ended long ago, but still, he stayed locked away from her. It hurt her badly.
Slowly, carefully, so as not to ruin the false hope of maybe, just maybe he'll be there, she opened her eyes.
And no one was there.
She sighed and blinked several times to fight back the tears welling up in her eyes. Right now was one of those mornings when she wanted to break somthing. The frustation and the anger at him for doing this to her just kept on builing. "But no, Relena, we must keep our composure as leader of the world," she told herself. She dressed slowly, thinking. Thinking just how could he. The nerve!! He had shown her just how much he cared for her, and now, here he went again, leaving her behind to build up his shields. Still... Relena smiled. He'll never be able to build them all back up after that, no matter how long he stays away. He has to come back to me, I just know he does, she though. "That's it. Think positve. Now, to see what's for breakfast."
She went down stairs and sat down, smiling to herself. Her mansion was just... HUGE. She picked up the paper and glanced boringly at the headline. 'SCIENTIST CONFIRM NEW LAGRANGE POINT' She already knew that. Hearing the door open, Relena smiled. "Yes, cook, I would like some toast and eggs this morning,"she thought about her positive attitude,"and the eggs should be sunny-side up. Thank you." She looked back down at the paper. The door closed. She flipped through the paper, reading little articles here and there, until she found the comics. "Gotta stay postive," she reminded herself.
"About what?"
"Oh, just need to, thank... you... for..." She turned in her chair and almost fell out in surprise. She stood abruptly. "Heero? I thought you-"
Before another word escaped her mouth, Heero was kissing her. She back up a little and looked at him. "Ssh, Relena. Relax. I'm not leaving anymore. I promise. This time, I stay." And he kissed her again, this time Relena put her arms around him, and Heero held her close.
Realization hit Relena. She told HEERO to get her the eggs. "Oh, I still want my eggs."
"Keep dreaming."
