"Logan?" Max asked as she walked into his house.
"Yeah, Max?" Logan called back.
"Logan, com'er," she called out softly.
Logan walked slowly into the kitchen where Max stood. "What's the matter?"
"Logan. I-I'm leaving. This just won't work. If I even touch you you'd die," Max whispered walking away.
"Max! Wait!" Logan shouted running after her, but she was already gone.
Here's how it goes, you and me, up and down but baby this time
We'll get right, worth the fight
Cause love is something you can't shake
When it breaks
All it takes is some trying
A month later.
Max sighed. She had left a month ago, and she missed Logan dearly. She heard a two little kids nearby. They were singing.
"If you feel like leaving I'm not gonna make you stay," is what she heard them sing.
After that she started feeling lonely and very disappointed. She started having doubts.
'Maybe I shouldn't have left...' she let the though fade out. But it kept coming back. 'Coward!' a voice in her head screamed at her. She had been a coward though. Max closed her eyes.
If you feel like leaving
I'm not gonna make you stay
Soon you'll be finding
You can run, you can hide
But you can't escape my love
You can run, you can hide
But you can't escape my love
~ Flashback ~
Logan and her had been talking to the psy-ops, Mia.
"If love were easy, it wouldn't be fun," Mia had said.
~ End Flashback ~
Max shook her head. Cleary her thoughts. 'Maybe I should go back to Logan,' the voice in her head said again.
Max suddenly stood up. She had a plan now. She had gone, left Logan. But she couldn't escape her feelings for him. She could run and hide. But she'd always feel them.
So if you go
You should know
It's hard to just forget the past to so fast
It was good, it was bad, but it was real
And that's all you have, in the end our love matters
A week later
Logan sighed sitting at his computer. No, trace of her. None.
Logan slowly fell asleep. He dreamed of Max, with, of course, no virus. He woke to a soft musical sound. He followed it into the living room. Some words drifted from a small box. As well as the song.
Logan guessed it was the end of the song. The last words he heard from the small box were, "You can run. You can hide. But you can't escape my love."
"I heard from some kids," said a soft voice coming from the doorway.
"Max-" Logan shouted running toward her.
"Wait. You know Logan, it's true, I can't escape your love," Max whispered walking closed to him. There was a small thumping sound on the walls. A soft sound, like water. It was raining.
Max and Logan stayed on Logans couch the whole night. Listening by the song Max had brought Logan, and listening to the soft sound of the water.
Here's how it goes
All it takes is some trying
You can run, you can hide
But you can't escape my love
