Maddies POV
"Maddie, diggys here" Liv yelled to me from downstairs. "Ok Maddie, you can do this, its just he first dance with the boy you've had a crush on since, like, forever" I say to myself. I come downstairs in the shoes that liv let me borrow and the dress she also let me borrow. "wow Maddie, you look amazing" diggy said. " Thanks its just that my feet are killing me, do I really have to wear these liv?" says Maddie. "yes! Its your first dance and you need to look almost as fantabulous as I did in sing it loud". " I cant do this" Maddie says and runs upstairs. "Maddie wait" diggy says but shes already upstairs. " Diggy Johnson, what are you doing in my house?" Maddies father, Pete says as he walks out of the kitchen. "I will leave" says Diggy. " Aww much better" Maddie says coming downstairs wearing a pair of sneakers. " Uhhm Maddie you cannot wear that to your fir-" Maddie cuts her off. " liv I'm already wearing a dress, don't push it. Come on Diggy, let's go."
"Wait, Wait," Maddie's mom says running out of the kitchen. "Pictures!" "Say cheese!" "Cheese!" they said. "Okay now let's leave." I said and me and Diggy started walking to his car. " This is totally going to be the best night ever" I think to myself. "Here you go" Diggy says as he opens the door so she can get in. "thank you Diggy"I say as I'm getting in. We drive to the dance and go inside. "Oh my god, they are a slow song and I think Diggys about to ask me to dance" I think to myself.
Diggys POV
"May I have this dance?" I ask Maddie. "Of course". We start dancing and they change it to a fast, upbeat song and me and Maddie are dancing our hearts out. A couple songs later, they announce that the dance is over and we should start heading out. I drive us back to Maddie's.
Maddie's POV
"Here you go, again" Diggy says opening the door for me once more. We walk up to my porch and Diggy says good-bye and starts to lean in. "OH MY GOD! He's going to kiss me. I have to kiss him first o else I will have lost and I don't lose. BAM. WHAT!" I think to myself and I lean in really fast and we kiss he best kiss you could ever have. "See you at school" he says as he walks away. "Totally the best night ever" I say to myself as I go inside.
