an: Hi guys this a little fluffy Babriel (Gabriel/Balthazar) again I apologise for any spelling or grammatical errors I suck at proof reading my own work, just ask all my university Lecturers. Anyway enjoy especially you Sian and Ella because I know how obessessd you guys are with this ship at the moment. Xxx
Balthazar sighed as he watched the images flickering up on TV, it's been taking all of his restraint to take this god damn stupid Billy Zane movie seriously. He watches as Rose and Jack meet on the front of the boat. Balthazar he feels Gabriel twitch from beneath his arm, he was probably trying to hold back laughter, Gabe knew this was the bit that Balthazar hated the most out of this whole shitty excuse for a film.
"Why the fuck, are you making me watch this again?"
He says turning his head to the shorter angel tucked under his arm.
"It's a good film. James Cameron is a cinematic legend."
Gabriel replied to Balthazar with a smirk and Balthazar muster up all his strength to ignore the feelings the coursed through him when Gabriel pulled that face. He moved his hand off of the other angel.
"James Cameron is a twat."
"Nah, he's not we're tight."
Balthazar cringed hanging his head into his hand for not only as a reaction to that response but also because the disgusting sounds of Celine Dion singing were reaching his ears, and he felt physically sick.
"Near, far, wherever you are…"
A new voice had joined in the singing and it was a lot better than Celine, yet Balthazar thought it was best to keep his face hidden and pretend this wasn't happening… again.
"Gabe, shut up!"
He muttered but, Gabriel continued to singing with more passion this time, Balthazar felt the other angel move off of the couch.
"… and you're here in my heart and my heart will go on and on."
Balthazar raised his head thinking that he might as well amuse himself with the image of Gabriel singing and, gesticulating his little heart out. He froze as he looked at the sight in front of him. Gabriel. Down on one knee. A shiny, silver ring. Shit! Gabriel had stop singing now and met Balthazar's gaze.
"Balthy…"
"Gabe, shut up."
Balthazar said to the kneeing angel a sudden wave of emotion rushing over him, he felt like he was on the edge or tears; you know those happy tears you get when everything seems perfect. All this very unlike Balthazar, he wasn't mean to fall in love, he definitely wasn't meant to fall in love with a Arch-angel, and he wasn't meant to cry happy tears but here he was with two out of three ticked off and soon to be adding the third.
"Balthazar you hate Titanic yet you watch it with me, you hate candy and the way it rots teeth yet you smile as watch me eat it piece by piece."
"Gabriel…"
"… Not let me finish this because I love you Balthy and I know it seems crazy that Balthazar the stone-cold angel with vessel of a Brit could love, yet you love me?
"I do."
Balthazar replied with a grin
"So, Balthazar what do you say to keeping that love going and spending the rest of life with me?"
"Yes…"
Gabe jumped up and moved towards Balthazar
"But on one condition."
Gabe stopped in his tracks looking up at Balthazar
"Uh… sure."
Balthazar smirked pulling the other man towards him.
"We turn this bloody awful movie off."
Gabriel nodded leaning up to kiss the other angel.
"but we're still having My Heart Will Go On as the first dance at our wedding."
Balthazar sighed
"I hate you."
Gabriel smiled taking Balthazar's hand and sliding the engagement ring onto his finger.
"No you don't."
There was no way Balthazar could fight him on that one, and a life time with his Arch-Angel, his Trickster was probably worth having to dance to a dumb Celine Dion song.
THE END
